New York, NY, USA – August 18, 2020 – MarsKitchen, a Brooklyn born and bred catering company manifested by no one other than NYC native Chef Marlon Moreau, founded February 3, 2019 on SuperBowl Sunday. MarsKitchen has kicked up the heat within the last year with their classic menu items from the famous “Dat Sticky Wings” to their crowd’s favorite “Mac & Cheese” and tantalizing “Rasta Pasta”.

As the late rapper Biggie used to say “Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way”, Chef Marlon has quickly risen to the top with passion from his new found success in the culinary arts industry. Launching new menu items weekly, providing catering services, private dinners as well as event planning services he does it all. I mean don’t they say in order to survive in NYC you have to be a jack of all trades. However, this isn’t all MarsKitchen plans to offer his company has a vision of expanding with their very own nightlife based restaurant which will transform into a franchise.

Prior to creating MarsKitchen Moreau has an extensive list of high end clientele and experiences that led him to be the popular socialite Chef. To name a few he has catered to radio host and Tv star Dj Self, celebrity clothing CEO Suga J and rapper Neek Bucks, who all raved about his food on social media. Chef Marlon started in 2015-2017 pursuing a hospitality management major at Onondaga Community College then swiftly transferred to Buffalo State College in January 2018- May 2019 where he graduated with a bachelors in culinary arts. During his college experience Moreau interned from 2015-2017 at Onondaga restaurant as management picking up hospitality and customer service attributes as well as sharpening his culinary skills.

Chef Marlon established a name for himself and went back home to Brooklyn to become the Chef for Tamara Caribbean Kitchen 2019-2020 where he brought his Caribbean heritage and flavors to the table. Currently in 2020 Moreau is the head chef at Pikliz Cafe all while running Mars Kitchen creating his classic Caribbean menu with a twist. Moreau was also fortunate to work alongside DishedByTony’s CEO himself Chef Tony who he explains as “Great Chef and team player.” If you’re not from NYC and wondering where you can get your hands on Chef Marlon’s food he is always catering at college events and private parties across the east coast such as Haiti’s President and artist Sweet Mickie’s birthday party. Below states a client review via the social media platform Instagram where it speaks for itself on how great clients react to his delicious food. Offering the dynamic cuisine for people all over to enjoy, and keeps them coming back for more.

“That was the best Mac & Cheese I ever ate in my life, and dat sticky wings was great, best sauce in the city” (2020) – Undisclosed Client Review

Chef Marlon’s Influence

Moreau watched his mother in the kitchen growing up where he studied her cooking as well as lent a hand with dinner whether it was prepping or stirring the spot. He started to retain the necessary skills to cook certain meals and fell in love with the art of cooking, eventually driving his passion. Shortly after his mother passed away he was motivated to step up in his household and begin to cook dinner for the rest of his family. It was a house full of boys and he only knew the basics of cooking so at the age of 15 while most boys were outside playing with friends he rushed home from school to make sure his father and siblings had a home cooked meal.

Once he developed his niche with the help of long time friend of 10 years and now current manager of MarsKitchen starting October 2019, Tyler Louis. Louis pushes Moreau to stay organized and driven with his vision which led MarsKitchen to become what it is today. Next, Steve Moreau his brother has been his constant support system and very own marketer where he posts all of his events and food creations on social media platforms all while giving brotherly advice along the way. Lastly, his Sous Chef and step brother Patrick Norzlius assists with his catering gigs, helping sell food weekly to the public and helps him prep and cook. They do say two hands are better than one so why not let them be your siblings.

All together, MarsKitchen is a modern upscale Caribbean inspired catering company heavily family oriented through and through. Marlon Moreau is a Brooklyn native chef and face of the invigorating MarsKitchen we’ve been hearing about these days. If you’re in NYC and want to spice your palette up, go place an order with MarsKitchen and if you’re thinking about going somewhere else “fuggedaboutit”!
