SAVANNAH, GA – MARCH 6, 2020 – Corstrata, a provider of digital healthcare IT solutions and services for wound prevention and care management, announced today that it will sponsor the second annual Post-Acute Care Wound Nurse Excellence Award. Sponsored by CORSTRATA and hosted by the Post-Acute Care Symposium (PACS), the Post-Acute Care Wound Nurse Excellence Award is open to all clinicians working in post-acute care settings. The annual award recognizes one individual for his/her direct contribution to overall wound care excellence in post-acute care.

“We are excited to work with HMP, producers of the Post-Acute Care Symposium (PACS) and Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) Spring meetings, to again offer this award that highlights and recognizes the critical importance of the work wound care clinicians are doing across the country in the post-acute setting,” commented Katherine Piette, CEO and Co-Founder, Corstrata. “Nominees will also gain great exposure for their work with entries being judged by our distinguished panel of judges that represent three of the top experts in the post-acute wound care industry.”

“As Cathy Milne, our PACS co-chair and judge stated, ‘With the post-acute care setting now central to our healthcare delivery system, we saw an unmet need to provide a practical conference for clinical professionals that focuses on the day-to-day realities of residents/patients with wound issues,’ and that is why HMP is excited to again support the Post-Acute Care Wound Clinician Excellence Award,” said Peter Norris, Executive Vice President, HMP. “By hosting the award at PACS, we are not only providing attendees with actionable clinical pearls to help advance quality outcomes through wound education, but also recognizing front line clinicians who make a difference in their patient’s lives every day.”

The panel of wound care experts and healthcare professionals will judge the clinician nominee entries based upon the following achievements over the past 12-18 months:
