Indian Unit Feeble during Noontime Trade

rupee2New Delhi, Monday, December 1 – The official currency of India was changing hands being feeble by 11 paise at 62.14 in opposition to the greenback during the deal observed early afternoon. The Indian rupee flitted around between 62.11 and 62.25 during the noontime trade.

By reason of increase in value of the American currency vs. other units out of the country, the domestic unit grew weaker by 22 paise to deal at a new 9-month trough of 62.25 in opposition to the greenback in morning time deal at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market on the first working day of the week.
